Driver Terms | Urban Priority
These Driver Terms apply to driver applicants and approved drivers using the Urban Priority driver app and related platform services.
1) Driver status and eligibility
• Drivers are responsible for providing accurate onboarding information and keeping their account, vehicle, insurance, MOT, right-to-work and compliance information up to date.
• Approval to use the platform is not guaranteed. Urban Priority may review, pause, restrict or remove driver access where required for safety, compliance, fraud prevention, service quality or legal reasons.
• Unless separately agreed in writing, drivers use their own vehicle and are responsible for roadworthiness, tax, insurance, licences, fuel, parking, penalties and legal compliance.
2) Job offers and service standards
• The app may show job offers, route information, pickup details, drop-off details, customer notes, service level, timing, route, pay information and proof-of-delivery requirements.
• Drivers should only accept work they can complete safely, lawfully and professionally.
• Direct / non-stop, priority and time-sensitive work must be handled according to the instructions shown in the app and any operational guidance issued by Urban Priority.
3) Location, tracking and proof of delivery
• The driver app uses location while the driver is online and/or handling work so Urban Priority can support dispatch, live tracking, route visibility, operational safety and customer support.
• Drivers must not falsify location, proof of delivery, pickup status, drop-off status, customer messages, waiting time or delivery events.
• Where proof of delivery is required, drivers must provide accurate delivery confirmation, photo, signature, note, status update or other evidence requested in the app.
4) Customer contact and conduct
• Drivers must communicate professionally and only use customer/recipient details for the relevant delivery.
• Harassment, unsafe conduct, discrimination, fraud, misuse of data, unauthorised subcontracting or abusive behaviour may lead to restriction or removal from the platform.
5) Earnings and records
• Earnings, adjustments, waiting time, rebates, deductions, disputes and payout records are handled through Urban Priority systems and may be subject to review.
• Drivers should raise payment or delivery disputes promptly through the app or driver support with the relevant job reference.
6) Suspension, removal and investigations
• Urban Priority may suspend or restrict access while investigating safety, compliance, fraud, customer complaint, failed delivery, payment, document or operational concerns.
• Records may be kept where needed for legal, tax, safety, dispute, fraud prevention, compliance or audit reasons.
